The DNA Sequencing Facility needs to be notified that your laboratory is going to use the MRBIII Sample Drop-Off site. A box with your lab’s name will be placed in the refrigerator during the next pick-up time. This does not mean that the MRBIII Sample Drop-Off site must be used for every submission.

Samples will be picked up from the 4280 - MRBIII Sample Drop-Off site twice during the day at 10AM and 3PM. This service will not be available on holidays or when the facility is closed.

When using the MRBIII Sample Drop-Off site, online submissions must be placed 15 minutes before the pick-up time. During the 15 minute period prior to the pick-up time, a list of samples to be picked up is made and a person from the facility walks to MRBIII to pick up the samples, therefore samples cannot be added during this period.

When submitting online, please select 4280-MRBIII for drop-off site if you are using the MRBIII Sample Drop-Off site. Default is room 531 Light Hall. Click hear to view Image

If you receive an email to re-submit more sample and/or primer you must bring the requested sample and/or primer to room 531 Light Hall. If you submit the suggested volume of 10 ul per reaction for both the sample and the primer you should not be asked to re-submit more sample and/or primer.

The MRBIII Sample Drop-Off site is for convenient sample submission. If the submission is urgent and you need the result in the shortest period of time it is strongly suggested that you bring the sample directly to the DNA Sequencing Facility in room 531 Light Hall.
